INVEST IN ANAM NEW CITY PROJECT TODAY

Need Assessment of Anam community : A call for Global Investement
Let us listen together to the needs faced those living in Anam, from the testimony of several village chiefs, to the common man in the communty.
These words comes from all corners of indigens to speak to you of the needs where they live.
You are more than welcome to come join us helping Anam rise above these difficulties especially if you  have experiences in the areeas listed in the testimonies below : Agriculture, Water, Education, Housing, Health, tranportation and Economic development.
This being said more necssary than coming with exprience to Ebenebe Anam (the take off of Anam New city Project) to help is that you come with the heart of a servant to help others while at the same time learning from Anam especially her natural environment.
If you are unable to come to Anam,( see Anam on the Google Earth)you can always participate by touching Anamites lives by helping Dr Alloy & Gesare Chife foundation (A Globally recognised Ngo) who truely work for the benefit of Anam people, and we invte you to assist them in every way you can.
            AGRICULTURE
“Our highest priority, its to modernise and encourage modern farming in our region”. ___ Mr Morba Victor
“ We have food and farming needs in our villages. We would like to set up granaries, and to see the provision of mechanized farming . This would allow us harvest enough to attain agricultural self- sufficiency” since the majority of the people are farmers.
“Our greatest need, its good storage facilities that can alliviate the sufering of the people and the economy since the only means is the local preservation barn( Oba). __ Mr Anigbogu Azubike
“since we are mostly farmers, we hope that good storage facilities would help us increase the yeild of our crops. we would like to teach our people how to use modern farming tools to produce optimal yield”.___ Mr Obidike Paul
“since we live along the river Niger (and Ezichi river), we often think about how we would obtain motorised pumps and personal assistance to establish irrigation”. ____ Chief Okonkwo Joseph
SKILL AQUISITION CENTRE / CIVIC CENTRE
We need a skill aquisition centre, so that our people can learn skills such as sewing, furniture making, computer enginering/ repairs of cell phones, artistic work, etc, with the goal of obtaining economic self sufficiency __ Chife Mmeh Ignatus
        PORTABLE WATER
“ Anam is agricultural and pastoral region. Among other things, her people need the very basic that complete life and that of their companions (the garden, the feild, the herds)
“Thus, we have an ugent need for the installation of portable pipe-borne water”. __ Chief Nwene Chukwudi
Although we live along the river, we find that the water we draw from the river makes us sick. “ Water water everywhere but none to drink”(J.P Clerk 2000). Especially between the month of March and May, when the river dries up a bit, diarrhoea, spreads in the region and causes many deaths.
“Water is essential to life but if the water sources is poluted, thus put our entire population in dnager, especially the children” __ Chief Chidokwe Pius.
         EDUCATION
“ Anam is agricultural and pastoral region. Among other things, her people need the very basic that complete life and that of their companions (the garden, the feild, the herds)
“Thus we have an urgent need for schools so that our children deprived of their right can go to school”. ___ Mmaduneme Iyke
There is a greates lack of school in Anam communities. During our survey at Ebenebe Anam, the take off of the ongoing Anam New City Project, a respondent says- “ there is no school in Ebenebe, the only school close to the area is in Mmiata Anam, about 50 kilometers away “.
For the aforementioned school, we noticed a lack of trained instuctors.
The greatest need we have where we live is the education of our people. We have already found a litte assistance from Dr Alloy and Gesare Foundation who has through their scholarship programme, produced over 50 graduates and numerous undergraduates in Anam. We need more investors and Ngos to assist
I would like to move on to the instruction of many people, given the insecurity that rules in our region from time to time. I see the truth of the proverb that says “ to open a school is to close a hundreds of prisons”
            HEALTH NEEDS.
“We have an ugent need for maternity hospitals so that our people, our women and sisters can at least consult a nurse instead of travelling many kilometers to see a Doctor”. __ Nwakonuche Mike
You can assist Dr Alloy and Gesare Chife who has maped out a site for the hospital in the master plan (of the New City Project)
You can do this in the following ways
-          By building the hospital (or parts of it). These structures/ buildings can be named after you. “Thus, the greatst investment is to invest on human needs”
-          By bringing in an investor, a philantopist who can join hands in the development process.
-          By dedicating some medical facilities and drugs to the hospital. “ Thus, to save a life is to save a generation  _Linus Ifeanyi
We also have greatest medical needs accessible and well – stocked dispensories would help villagers rise above the illness that they find difficult to rise above.
The most medical problem that the people of my region experiences are these: snake and scorpion bites, malaria, typhord fever, diarhoea and dysentry, meanigites and pnemonia, hernias and romatism.
              GOOD ROAD
We would also mention the need for roads to be accessible to the entire population, for the road that now exist are too far to meet the needs of the villagers
“Where we live, there is a great need to improve the roads so that they can be use even during the rainy season”__ Obidike Chuma
“ I attribute at least a portion of the insecurity in my region to the isolation of our villages. I also see road improvement as a first step towards the development of my region.
In Anambra state where Anam belongs to, it is only the road that leades to Anam that still remain a virgin road, despite its closeness to the federal capital territory of the country (as the closest road to Abuja from both the south east and the south south part of ).
We still have need for the improvement of roads in our region because this improvement will help us touch the lives of our people as well as improve our economy. Anam is the food basket of the state, and the discovery of crude oil in the land puts us in a brighter future
We must thank our God´s sent Dr Alloy and Gesare Chife for their good work in touching the lives of our people.
The New city project which began with the seed project _ the Brick factory, Fish pond, and the ongoing construction of houses (resindential building) has really touched the lives of the people.
We therefore encourage the Global world, foreign and local investors, philantropists, Non Govenmental Organizations(Ngos) to join hands for humanitarian sake and save the lives of Anam people.
Thank you as you come
