National Assembly or National Robbery

National Assembly or National Robbery
I red an article on the acts of our leaders in corridor of power and I was mad! Almost all our leaders in this country lack purpose. They neither know their purpose of being in such positions nor what they are there for.
When purpose is not discovered, abuse is inevitable. We have seen this in several ways of our daily living, especially at this crucial time of our national transformation. I began to ask questions about our so-called leaders but in the actual sense, they are rulers because Nigerians cannot see any qualities of leadership in most of them. One of the questions we need answer to, is about their job descriptions and responsibilities towards the welfare of Nigerians. Our rulers do not know the purpose of democracy let alone why they are public officers. Many actually think it is for celebration and concentration on their personal purse, not thinking about 150million people like them, whose DNA is not better than theirs.
Some of our politicians are running another man’s race by imitating; forgetting that imitation is limitation, says Evangelist Gbenga. When a man lacks purpose, greed takes over his life, forgetting the common average person, who has no hope of the bare necessities of life, food, clothing, and shelter. Many of them are eating beyond their stomach, buying clothes with money that can cloth a whole village, living in houses built with public funds, and I wonder if a man can sleep In two rooms at a time or drive two cars at the same? It is unfortunate that they have not realized that people no longer respect them for what they drive but for what drives them. A man who has discovered purpose will not steal billions of naira and still be telling the whole world that no court of law have the right to try him. This is the peak of insanity in our society. Bill Gates for example made his billions of dollars through his Microsoft and yet he is using the proceeds to fight malaria and polio all over the world but unfortunately here in Nigeria, reverse is the case.
I don’t understand how a senator will be collecting #900m per annum and it is difficult for the federal government to pay #18, 000 minimum wages for teachers who labour everyday. Doctors are on strike all the time because they are not being treated well, Customs, Immigration officers do whatever they like with importers because of the ill-treatment they are getting from the government. To make it worse, security is the new prayer point for everyone while going out daily because of the non-challant attitude of our rulers, towards the lives and properties of the citizens of this great country.
Police officers find it difficult to understand their jobs because of lack of direction, you see a police officer arresting car owners because of custom papers. Why won’t a police officer harass a fellow Nigerian because of #20 when their barrack are worst than the slums? Who is to do what again in this nation? To know the difference between LASTMA, road safety corps and Police is a problem .Nigerian government prefer to pay lawmakers high than law enforcers! “Monkey dey work, Bamboon dey chop”! Can someone explain to Nigerians, what exactly is the job of the senators and Rep. members?
I have notice over the years, that whenever there is no discussion about money or allowances, the house is always scanty but check, whenever they are to talk about projects and sharing of allowances, the house is always full!. Lack of purpose has caused our government to spend money unnecessarily on power in last 12years, creating irrelevant parastatals and payment of inefficient staff. I got to some schools in the south East part of the country, I almost fainted, and here in south west, pupils and students are writing examinations under the tree! In the 21st century! Some nations are providing speed train for their citizens for easy transportation but here, we are refurbishing trains that were installed in 1900’s during the colonial era! It is a shame!
Lack of purpose is what makes our judiciary system misbehave because a court will sentence a man to 10years imprisonment because of #10.000 and the same court will sentence a man who stole public #1000 billion to 2years imprisonment and he is welcomed. Nobody talks about #100 billion, it has entered voicemail!
God is here with judgment and May I say this to all Nigerians, especially those who have decided to oppress the masses with the stolen money and go to churches and mosques, meeting the prophets for prayers. From today it will not work again. Any pastor, churches or mosques collecting money meant for social amenities, will collapse in Jesus name!
How do we enjoy power and electricity when the purpose (symbol) of NEPA/PHCN is god of thunder, which is characterized by epilepsy? Nigerian Airways is dead until date because the symbol used is that of an elephant! Has anyone seen an elephant fly? Our rulers have left major issues, and they are busy blowing grammar everywhere! Lack of purpose has led some pastors to leave their primary assignment and be running after contracts! They have turned themselves to contractors, forgetting that prophets are consultants. When they have a politician in their congregation, they worship him/her, as if the politician is their caller! Remember pastors, you will give account to Him who called you. That is if you are actually called! Lack of purpose had made our politicians to abandon our own schools, hospitals, roads, refineries, etc and enriching the purpose of their nations abroad! Nigerians spent over #200 billion naira studying abroad in 2011! How many Americans or Britons have abandoned their country to come and save money in any of our banks, but politicians and some elites are so wise, to the extent that 80% of their investments are not in their home country. Anybody can import anything into Nigeria including toothpick, used clothes, and used electrical appliances. Nigeria is the highest consumer of used and abandoned cars in the world. We are the largest producer of cassava yet we import starch. Oh my God, there is something definitely wrong with our system! I am calling on the president and all his cabinet members, to the least of the local government counselors, to do something quickly about the degenerating state of our nation, because the judgment of both nature and God is at hand. The cry of innocent blood and poor masses has reached heaven.
