Farewell Message to the Internts

The group picture of the 2011 internship programme

Whatsoever has a beginning must surely have and end, even a journey of thaousand miles. The smooth commencement of the 2011 internship programme has finally come to a joyous end.
I know many of you were discouraged by freiends, parents and well wishers in the first place. The truth is that you have come, you have seen and you have conqured. Thus,” many are  called but few are choosen” .
Having served our community, Anam, our great country, Nigeria and our continent Africa with selflessness which have brought gladness and fullfillment to you, a service which you rendered in humilty, its now time to say good bye.
We thank God that you have seen (by yourself) that Africa is lovely, Nigeria is great and intresting, Anam is accomodative and full of potentials (untaped).
Borrowing from Dr Alloy Chife, in his speech during his last visit to Ebenebe (in the month of July),” we hope that some of you will love to come back and stay like Stacy, Abena and DK who also came through internship programme like you and decided to continue a carrear with the foundation because of their love and passion for Africa.
Your programme witnessed a great change in the foundation and the community at large. The seed project (the fish pond and the brick factory) has fully commenced work. We now have where we produced bricks for the construction work.
Indeed, your sojourn had brought good fortune to the foundation and the host community, Ebenebe. It was your coming that quenched the would be conflict in the community. Your comming also created a lot of impact and awareness to the people. We appreciate God almighty !
No doubt you had made life lasting contacts and friends in Anam and I´m sure you will keep in touch and always refer to your friend at any point in time.
Finally, I wish to appreciate the efforts and encouragement of the C E O of. Chife,  Dr Alloy Chife and our big Mum, Mrs Gesare Chife. They brought their wide experience to intimate this programme. Mrs Gesare Chife had worked very hard to ensure a successful completion of this programme.
We hope once again that we have been able to meet your needs to serve the humanity. We regret any error, inconviniences you may encounter, please pardon us.
May the good lord undretake for you as you re-unite with your loved ones. I wish you all safe journey to yo ur various countries/homes.

God bless you all. Bon voyage !
